Ministry announces three holidays

Accra, Dec. 14, GNA – The Ministry of the Interior has declared Wednesday, December 19 as a public holiday in commemoration of the Eid-Ul-Adha Festival and asked the public to take note.

A statement from the Ministry on Friday signed by the Ministe r, Mr Kwamena Bartels also declared Tuesday, December 25, Wednesday, December 26, and Tuesday January I, 2008 as public holidays.

The statement said the days were in respect of the Christmas, Boxing Day and the New Year celebrations respectively.
