Peki and Hohoe workers to be given leave

Accra, Oct. 24, GNA-The Head of Civil Service has granted three working days leave for public and civil servants who hail from the Gbi Traditional area in the Volta Region, to participate in their annual Gbidukor festival scheduled for this weekend at Hohoe. The festival is to be celebrated from Friday October 26 to Tuesday October, 30.

According to a circular signed by Mrs Christiana Gockel, a Deputy Director for Finance and Administration of the Office of the Civil Service, all public and Civil servants who hail from Hohoe and Peki Traditional Areas who wish to participate in the celebrations should be granted permission to attend. “The three working days should be treated as part of their annual leave entitlements. “Officers who have already enjoyed their annual leave may be granted casual leave,” the circular stated.
