Hon. Osafo-Maafo’s rich experience in both political circles and private service is not limited to only his area of specialty but vibrates to the peripheries of his specialty. His monumental track record on the economy and his realistic approach to economic issues has made him an economic trailblazer in the whole of Africa. No wonder the World Bank has drafted him to facilitate the economic reconstruction of Liberia.
Hon. Osafo-Maafo has proven beyond all doubts that he can effectively manage an enterprise. He managed Ghana’s economy from the verge of collapsing to a level where the economy has registered the most permanent resilience ever in the history of our country. The versatility of his managerial skills and experience could also be traced back to the Ministry of Education, Youth& Sports, where he led Ghana to a historic world cup tournament, BHC, NIB, Nestle Ghana Ltd etc. Ghana needs someone who has done it before and is ready to do it again.
