As part of the events marking its tenth Anniversary Celebrations, The Ghanaian News-Canada, the newspaper of the Ghanaian-Canadian Community launched a musical CD titled “Nhyira Nka Nyame”. The Song was written and composed by up coming Gospel Musician, Maame Lucy Crenstil during the celebrations at the Ghanaian Presbyterian Church in Toronto on Sunday October 7, 2007. The official launching of the CD was performed by Dr. Martin La Kumi. The first fifty copies of the CD were sold for fifty dollars each while the rest were sold for only twenty dollars.
Mr. Emmanuel Ayiku, Publisher of The Ghanaian News announced that proceeds from the CD will go into funding a Ghanaian News Youth Journal that will be launched shortly. The Journal project is aimed at providing skills in journalism and newspaper production to interested youth in the Ghanaian-Canadian Community.
