The Council of Ghanaian Nationals Association in Italy (COGNAI) is meeting for the second time this year on Saturday, October 13.
A statement from the General Secretary of the Council, Gilbert Abasimi, said the meeting would come on in Vicenza, at the Trade Union Office of UIL situated at Via Quasimodo n. 47/49 (behind Auchan Supermarket) at 1:30 p.m The statement further said the Council would among other issues on the agenda be voting in a general election to elect new Executive Board members. It will also discuss the upcoming Miss Ghana in Italy 2007 Beauty Contest scheduled to come at Vicenza on the 27th of this month.
More than 15 Ghanaian Associations across the country would be present at the meeting and each is expected to be represented by 5 delegates.
