Four man Parliamentary delegation off to China

Accra, July 3, GNA – A four man parliamentary delegation led by Mr. Kofi Attoh, MP for Ho central on Monday left Accra for a six day visit to China at the invitation of the Chinese People’s Association for friendship with foreign countries.

The delegation includes Mr John Tia, MP for Talensi, Mr. Hackman Owusu Agyeman Minority spokesman for foreign affairs and Nana Akomeah, MP for Okai Koi south.

Mr Attoh told newsmen that the delegation would take the opportunity to explore business opportunities and further strengthen bilateral relationship between the two countries.

The delegation will also hold discussion on education, cultural exchange and international relations.

The visit is part of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ghana and China, which falls on July 5.

The Chinese Ambassador, Mr. Lu Yongshou, saw off the delegation.
