Nduom Supports His Constituency

…He was overwhelmed by enthusiastic welcome with brass band music at Eguafo!

Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, the Member of Parliament for the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem Constituency on Saturday, September 8th supported the annual festival and fund raising events of three communities he represents in Parliament..Constituency members and Asafo companies at Eguafo welcomed their hard working and philanthropic representative with brass band music and loud cheers.

Eguafo citizens held their annual harvest and fund raising to support a local library project. The townspeople welcomed their Member of Parliament with great joy. It will be recalled that the Eguafo area voted overwhelmingly and much more so than any other area in the constituency for Dr. Nduom during the 2004 elections. He donations to support development projects and the festivities. He also gave financial support to the Abeyee community to fund community projects. The Member of Parliament has a project ongoing at Abeyee to provide housing for teachers. Constituency members and Asafo companies at Eguafo welcomed their hard working and philanthropic representative with brass band music and loud cheers.

Dr. Nduom was represented at the durbar grounds for the annual Nyeyi festival of the Komenda traditional area by Mr. Felix Amoah, the Chairman of the Nduom for President Committee. Dr. Nduom himself met with the Paramount Chief and the people of the town later on in the day. He reminded them of the projects he had worked on recently for Komenda. These include the improvements to the street lighting system, the beginning of the construction of a community library and improvement to the road from the Komenda Junction to the town. Dr. Nduom has made it his duty to be present at as many annual festivals as possible in his constituency.
