District Chief Executive commissions two projects at Asempaneye

Asempaneye (ASH), May 17, GNA – The Ahafo Ano South District Chief Executive, Mr AAnthony Kusi has commissioned a 50 million -cedi electrification and seven million cedis water projects at Asempaneye in the Ashanti region.

Commissioning the projects, Mr Kusi commended the people for their self-help spirit. The government provided cables for the electrification project and cement for the boleholes.

Mrs Rose Asomaning, Assembly Member for the area, said the electrification project has attracted some of the youth, who left the town, back to engage themselves in farming. She said the provision of the two bole holes has put an end to the perennial water problem of the people.
