Kunsu-Camp (Ash), May 16, GNA — The Ahafo Ano South District Assembly has spent 50 million cedis to rehabilitate five schools which lost their roofs to rainstorms recently.

The schools are Abesewa Roman Catholic Primary, Abesewa Local Authority Primary and Junior Secondary Schools. The rest are Duyan-Nkwanta Local Authority Primary and the JSS.

Mr Anthony Kusi, the District Chief Executive told Ghana News Agency on Monday that any further disaster in the district will be a big blow and therefore appealed to Non-Governmental Organisations and the NADMO to assist the district with roofing sheets.
