French President’s visit postponed

Accra, July 25, GNA – The visit of French President Nicolas Sarkozy scheduled for Thursday, July 26 has been postponed.

President Sarkozy should have begun a two-day official visit on Thursday, but a press release signed by Mr. Andrew Awuni, Press Secretary to President John Agyekum Kufuor, said the visit had been postponed and details of the new date would be announced as soon as they are confirmed.

Mr. Sarkozy was to have held discussions with President Kufuor on issues bordering on peace and stability in the sub-region and bilateral relations.
