17 Killed In Ghana Road Accident

ACCRA, Ghana (PANA) – At least 17 members of a Church, travelling for an Easter convention, died Thursday when the bus conveying them was involved in an accident in south- western Ghana, police confirmed Friday.

Police said the accident occurred when bus caught fire after colliding with an oncoming vehicle near the town of Nsawam, some 35-km northwest of Accra.

Police added that eight other members of the Holy Apostolic Church, injured in the accident, were in critical conditions at the government hospital in Nsawam.
