Government to bring in more Metro buses

Nsawam, June 01, GNA – Mr. Magnus Opare Asamoah Deputy Minister of Transportation has said that the government would continue to bring more of the Metro Mass buses into the country to assist both workers and the general public from queuing at the lorry parks before attending to their normal duties.

Mr. Opare Asamoah who is also the Member of Parliament for Akuapem South was addressing workers, traders and farmers at Nsawam after commissioning one of the Metro Mass buses, which is to ply Nsawam-Adoagyiri to Accra to ease the transportation problems in the area.

Mr. Asamoah said the buses, which does not charge exorbitant fares belong to every citizen of the country, and appealed to the public to take good care for the buses.

Nana Bow Ababio II, Chief of Bowkrom and Acting Chief of Nsawam commended the MP for his efforts and appealed to him to continue with the good work he was doing for the District.
