Assembly hall for Nzema East District

Axim (W/R), April 12, GNA – The Nzema East District Assembly is constructing a 550 million-cedi assembly hall block at Axim.

Disclosing this to the Ghana News Agency during an inspection tour of the two-storey block project, Mr J.R.D. Kobinah, the District Chief Executive, said the building, which consists of eight offices, four committee rooms and lobbies, is expected to be completed within 18 months.

Other features of the project are summer huts for relaxation and recreational, snacks and telephone facilities. Mr John Attpillah, the Presiding Member of the assembly and Mr Fred Otsibu Addae, the District Co-ordinating Director, accompanied Mr Kobinah on the inspection tour.

An Axim construction company, Kwass Building Contractors Limited, is undertaking the project.
