Church members donate blood

Asamankese, April 30, GNA – Members of the Seventh Day Church of Christ at Asamankese have donated 200 pints of blood to be distributed to some blood banks in the Eastern Region. The donation climaxed a three-day camp meeting of the church at Asamankese.

Apostle Ephraim Kwaku Danso, leader of the church, said the donation was to endure that there was sufficient blood at hospitals. Mr Phanuel Mordzifa, Blood Programme Organiser at the Koforidua Regional hospital who supervised the exercise, commended the church members and appealed to other religious organisations to emulate them.
