Clergyman calls on the youth to ensure love

Jasikan (V/R), April 15, GNA- Most Reverend Ababio Mantey, Bishop of Jasikan Diocese of the Catholic Church, has called on the youth in the country to always ensure peace and love for their development. The Bishop who was speaking at the 22nd Catholic World Youth Day at Jasikan also asked them to eschew self-centreness and selfishness to enable them to progress.

The occasion was aimed at bringing the youth together and sensitise them on religious and social life towards the building of the Church and the nation.

He advised the youth against immoral lives and urged them to harness their talents to the benefit of the society. Reverend Father Anseimus Mangusi, Youth Chaplain and Vocational Director of the Church, said the Diocese had planned to introduce the youth in the area to snail and grass cutter rearing and mushroom farming and mango and oil palm cultivation among others. He said plans were also far advanced for regular holiday classes for students.
