Association donates education materials to schools

Accra, April 10, GNA – the Ga Dangma Association International based in Georgia in the United States has presented six computers and educational materials worth 70 million cedis to three schools in the Odododiodioo electoral area.

Happy Days Academy, Jewish Preparatory School and Christ the King of Kings School had two computers each, books and some educational materials.

Making the presentation the Public Relations Officer of the association, Mr Fred Huffman, said the donation formed part of the association’s commitment to the development of the community especially the needy ones.

He said it was also to give the children sense of direction to enable them to grow to become useful citizens in the community. Mr Huffman said the association would continue to support education in the area.

The representative of Kissbery Foundation based in US that initiated the donation, Mrs Mercy Akomah-Nketsia, said the donation was in response to a request made by the late Member of Parliament for Odododiodioo, Mr Ayikwei Mankattah, when he visited US.
