President leaves for Senegal

Accra, April 3, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor left Accra for Senegal on Tuesday to attend the inauguration of President Abdoulaye Wade who was elected for a second term.

Some ministers of state and government officials accompanied him. Lt-Gen J.B. Danquah, the Chief of Defence Staff and the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Patrick K. Acheampong, saw him off at the airport.

President Kufuor is expected back home on Wednesday.
