Ghanaian missing at JFK

A 56-year-old African man has disappeared after arriving at John F. Kennedy Airport and clearing customs, police said yesterday.

Joseph Abbiw-Acquah was last seen on March 25 when he arrived at JFK from his native Ghana shortly before 7:45 a.m.

He had come to the U.S. to visit his brother in the Bronx.

Abbiw-Acquah passed through customs, but never picked up his bags and hasn’t been seen since.

Abbiw-Acquah is 5-feet8, and weighs about 145 pounds. He has black hair and dark eyes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 44th Precinct detectives at (718) 590-5537 or Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
