Ghana To Spend 5.32 Billion Cedis On Roads

Koforidua, Ghana (PANA) – Ghana is to spend 5.32 billion cedis to maintain roads in the country’s eastern region in 2000, Emmanuel Papa Preko, regional director of Ghana Highway Authority, has said.

Preko, speaking at a meeting of the Regional Co-ordinating Council at Koforidua, said routine maintenance of roads in the region would be carried out in earnest.

A drainage system would be provided along the Aburi-Nsawam road while the Aseseeso-Abonse road would be reshaped, pending major rehabilitation.
