Assembly to determine location of business venture

Begoro, March 9, GNA – The Executive Committee of the Fanteakwa District Assembly has urged the assembly to investigate the administrative location of the Linda Dor Restaurant at New Nsutam to find out if the restaurant was in Fanteakwa or in East Akim.

This was contained in the Executive Committee’s report presented to the assembly at the first ordinary meeting at Begoro on Wednesday. Linda Dor Restaurant is said to be located at New Nsutam in the Fanteakwa District for the past years but has never paid any revenue to the assembly.

The assembly members complained of the assembly loosing huge sums of revenue from the restaurant over years.

The Presiding Member of the Fanteakwa District Assembly, Mr Adjabeng Kwasi Ntori, therefore assigned the Finance and Administration sub-committee of the assembly to investigate the issue and submit its findings to the Executive Committee. 09 March 2007
