Driver convicted for wrongful parking

Assin Foso (C/R), Feb. 21, GNA – John Hansen, a driver from Assin Foso, was on Tuesday fined 1.2 million cedis for picking passengers at an unauthorized place by the Assin district magistrate’s court. Hansen pleaded guilty and will go to prison for four months default. Prosecuting, Assistant Superintendent of Police Akwasi Asafo-Agyei told the court that on January 15, Hansen picked passengers at an unauthorized place in Foso.

When station guards challenged him, he got angry and drove away but was arrested four days later.
