John Prescott Leaves

Accra, Feb. 17, GNA – The Deputy Prime Minister of Britain, John Prescott, left Accra last night for Britain after a four-day official visit.

During his visit, John Prescott paid a call on President John Agyekum Kufuor, toured the William Fort Castle, attended the commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the abolition of slavery, among other activities.

At the airport to see him off were ministers of state, government officials and officials from the British embassy.
