PNC folds up in Amenfi East District

Wassa Akropong (W/R), Feb. 13, GNA – Mr. Joseph Kwesi Baidoo, Wassa Amenfi East Constituency Chairman of the People’s National Convention (PNC), has said the party has ceased to exist in the constituency. Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Wassa Akropong on Monday, he said the party’s constituency structures had collapsed and the constituency has “lost contact with the national and regional apparatus of the party”.

Mr. Baidoo said all constituency executives have defected to the New Patriotic Party and National Democratic Congress adding, “I am yet to decide which party to join.”

“There is no PNC in Amenfi East and regional headquarters does not settle bills of the constituency. The landlord has ejected the party from its office due to its failure to pay three years’ accumulated rent of 1,800,000 cedis.
