Britain’s Deputy PM arrives

Accra, Feb. 13, GNA – John Prescott Deputy Prime Minister of Britain arrived in the country for a three-day official visit. During his visit, the Deputy Prime Minister is expected to call on President John Agyekum Kufuor, tour the William Fort castle and also attend a commemoration of the 200 anniversary of the abolition of slave trade among others.

At the airport to meet him were the Vice-President, government officials and officials of the British High Commission. 14 Feb. 07
