Belgium-based couple fetes over 200 orphans

Kumasi, Jan 15, GNA – A Belgium-based couple, Mr and Mrs Oheneba Agyemang, has feted over 200 orphans at the King Jesus Charity Home at Boadi near Kumasi.

The children were given food of their choice amid dancing, poetry recital, drama and fun games.

Addressing the gathering Oheneba Owusu-Agyemang said their gesture was in fulfillment of a pledge made to share their wealth with the needy.

He said they have adopted orphanages at Boadi, Agroyesum in Ashanti, Adenta and Bawjiase in the Greater and Central regions. Oheneba Owusu-Agyemang commended the founder of the home for his foresight that had improved the lives of the children and pledged to continue to support the home.

Reverend Kofi Owusu-Afriyie, Director of the Home, commended the couple for adopting the home and urged other philanthropists to emulate their example.
