Bimobas urged to live in peace

Techiman B/A, Jan. 5, GNA – Police Inspector Philip Lambon Laar (rtd), vice chairman of Bimobas union in Techiman in Brong-Ahafo, has advised Bimobas living in Techiman municipality to co-operate and avoid undermining each other.

He said since unity and cooperation formed the bedrock of development, they needed to maintain their loyalty to each other as any negative acts could adversely affect their stay in the area.

Addressing a cross section of Bimobas resident in Techiman municipality, he called for total cooperation amongst them so they could contribute positively to the development of the municipality. Malam Yakubu Tashiru, Bimoba chief in Techiman, commended Bimobas for their positive response to calls and urged them to keep the spirit. Senior Sergeant Peter Wabika (rtd), chairman of Bunkpurugu station in Techiman, advised Bimobas to be law abiding and to refrain from dabbling in chieftaincy issues, armed robbery, drug abuse and other social vices.
