Assembly woman targets three major projects in Obuasi

Obuasi (Ash), Dec 24, GNA=96 Madam Felicia Appiah-Nuamah, assembly woman for the Odumasi electoral area in the Obuasi municipality, has targeted three major projects for four communities in the area within the next four years.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Obuasi on her vision for the electoral area, Madam Appiah-Nuamah stressed on unity, saying without that her development agenda would not be achieved and that said she would mobilise the local human and material resources to accomplish her plans.

She said the four communities in her electoral area had their own development problems, which would be addressed systematically with emphasis on the priority ones.

She said it was ironical that the people of Diawuoso had no toilet facility even though all the liquid and solid wastes collected from the Obuasi Township were dumped in the area.

She stressed, 93With the coming into force of the 91Samansaman’ idea, I do not want anybody in my electoral area to be caught for sanitation reasons.=94 Madam Appiah-Nuamah expressed her appreciation to the electorate for the trust they had reposed in her and appealed for co-operation, support and goodwill from them. 24 Dec 06
