Tarkwa, Dec 21, GNA – Demon Ahadzi, a farmer resident at Gambia near Opon-Valley in the Wassa West District, was jailed 18 years in hard labour for attempting to rape Rebecca Sebeh. A Tarkwa Circuit court sentenced him on his own plea. Prosecuting, Inspector Oscar Amponsah of Tarkwa Police said on December 12 while returning from her farm Ahadzi pulled Rebecca in a bush, put her on the ground and undressed her but he did not succeed in raping her. A complaint was made to the Police and Ahadzi was arrested.
