President Kufuor returns from Mali

Accra, Dec. 13, GNA- President John Agyekum Kufuor returned to Accra this evening after a three-day working visit to Mali. Nana Akufo-Addo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and some government officials accompanied him. Nana Akufuo-Addo told journalists on arrival that the visit was essentially to reaffirm cordial relations between the two countries. He said Ghana also sought to create strong trade links with Mali, adding that as a country that was also establishing a culture of democracy and the rule of law, Mali was a country that Ghana had to share experiences with, for political progress. At the airport to meet the President was the Vice President, Alhaji Aliu Mahama, Ministers of State and Service Commanders.
