President Kufuor returns home from Nigeria

Accra, Nov. 30, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor returned home on Thursday from Abuja, Nigeria, where he attended the first Africa-South America summit.

President Kufuor also attended a summit of the 15-member Africa Union Peace and Security Council.

He was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, NEPAD and Regional Cooperation, Nana Addo-Dankwah Akufo-Addo and other senior government officials.

At the airport to meet him were Ministers of State, Chief of Defence Staff Lieutenant-General J.B Danquah and Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Mrs Elizabeth Robertson.
