German business delegation to visit Ghana

A German business delegation will visit Ghana to explore and intensify the possibility of investment and co-operation in the private sector from Monday, October five. The four-day visit is organised by Afrika-Verein, a German business association, and their Ghanaian counterpart, the Ghanaian-German Economic Association (GHAGEA).

The visit aims at developing co-operation between private economic circles of Ghana and Germany to foster economic development and industrialisation in Ghana.

A press statement issued on Tuesday by the German Embassy said the delegation would meet with government officials as well as Ghanaian business representatives to discuss issues pertaining to economic and social developments in Africa.

The meeting will create a forum for trade and investment opportunities, matching services for representations and joint ventures, and advise on legal and financial matters as well as on trade practices and logistics.

It will be dedicated to an intensive exchange of information and membership is open to all companies and individuals. Mr Carsten Nordmann, President of Afrika-Verein, will lead the delegation.
