Ghana Post dispatch rider kills in an accident

Akyem Oda Oct. 30, GNA – Francis Kyei, a 46-year-old dispatch rider of the Akyem Oda district branch of Ghana Post (GP) died instantly last Friday when a speeding mini-bus knocked him off from his motorbike. A management source told the Ghana News Agency that the deceased was returning to the office after delivering mails at the Oda Secondary School when he was knocked down by a 207 Benz bus being driven by one Yaw Sakyi on the Birim Bridge at Akyem Oda.

The source said Kyei’s intestines gushed out as a result of the impact.

The Akyem Oda Divisional Crime Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sampson Agbeko, confirmed the accident and said the driver was in police custody assisting in investigations.
