Rawlings leaves for Johannesburg

Accra, Oct 27, GNA – Former President Jerry John Rawlings on Friday left Accra for Johannesburg, South Africa to attend the 2nd General Assembly of the Forum of Former African Heads of States. The Forum will discuss Mobilization of International Support for Post Conflict Reconstruction and Development in Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC and Cote d’Ivoire.

A statement Mr. Victor Smith, Special Assistant and Director of Public Affairs to the Former President signed said, Former President Rawlings, who was accompanied by his wife Nana Konadu and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Victor Gbeho, would be away for a week.
