Addressing a large number of Moslems at Wenchi celebrating the Eid Ul Fitr festival, she stressed that 30 day fasting period “should bring a great change in you and to live above reproach”.

Madam Farizana appealed to Imams and Moslem chiefs to continue to pray for the government, the nation and all those in state leadership so Allah would shower His blessings for love, unity, peace and understanding to reign amongst all Ghanaians.

She expressed her heartfelt seasonal greetings to all Moslems and advised them, especially the youth to steer away from unproductive practices.

In a related development, Nana Kwadwo Abrefa Nketia VII, Omanhene of Wenchi Traditional Area, has advised Moslems to live in harmony and to avoid acts that could ignite confusion amongst them.
