University of Cape Coast closed indefinitely

The re-opening of University of Cape Coast scheduled for Monday, September 27, has been postponed until further notice.

A statement issued in Cape Coast by the Registrar said the Executive committee of the Academic Board at an emergency meeting took the decision. It said a new date would be announced in due course. The statement said that the re-sit examinations for the first semester 1998/99 have been scheduled for Monday September 27 to October one. It asked all students involved to arrange to present themselves for the examinations.
