Nana Boaten-Abora found dead in bed.

Sakumono, Sept. 15 GNA – Nana Boaten-Abora, a lecturer of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and former MP for Akim Oda was on Wednesday found dead in his room at the Sakumono Estates.

The Police removed his body from his bedroom at about 11:30 hours and deposited it at the Police Hospital Mortuary for autopsy. According to his neighbours they had not seen the former MP, who lives alone since last Monday and they thought that he had travelled, since his car has not been at the car park for the past few days.

A Police source, however, said a lady friend of Nana Boaten-Abora, who left him at dawn on Monday, September 13, said she spoke to him on the phone on Monday and he promised to call her back but did not. After she made several phone calls to Nana Boaten-Abora’s phone without reply, she decided to check from the flat this morning.

An errand boy of the deceased, Vincent Portuphy climbed to the balcony on the fourth floor and found the ex-MP dead in his bed. He was wearing a boxer’s shorts with a cloth covering him. The Police are investigating.
