GPRTU commends security agencies

Accra, Sept. 16, GNA – The Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) on Thursday declared its intention to support the security agencies in their effort at ridding the country of armed robbers.

A statement signed by Mr Emmanuel K. Gbedemah, National Chairman, in Accra said the Union appreciates the speed with which they sought and arrested the three suspects in connection with the murder of a taxi driver at the Kawokudi Junction at Roman Ridge in Accra last Sunday.

It said the regional secretariats of the union are required to support this important action by giving fruitful information to the Police and other agencies for peace to prevail in the country.
