Asunafo North DCE inspects road project

Goaso (B/A) Sept. 23, GNA – Construction work on the 12-kilometre Bediako-Dominase road is expected to be completed by the end of this year. So far 30 per cent of the construction work has been completed.

Speaking to journalists during an inspection tour of development projects in Asunafo North district of Brong-Ahafo, Alhaji Ishak Abubakar Bonsu, District Chief Executive, however expressed regret about the delay in the work.He warned that any contractor who failed to comply with the contractual agreement with the Assembly would have the contract abbrogated.

The DCE gave the assurance that the remaining 70 percent work on the road would be well monitored to ensure that the contractor would speed up work towards completion. Alhaji Bonsu stated that the Assembly had also embarked on a project to install streetlights to ensure adequate security in the towns and villages.
