Muslims begin Ramadan Fasting

Accra, Sept. 23, GNA 96 The National Hilal Committee has announced the sighting of the new moon of Ramadan at Aboaso in the Kwabere District of Ashanti Region on the evening of Friday, September 22.
It therefore, asked Muslims throughout the country to start Ramadan Fasting at dawn of Saturday, September 23.
A statement issued in Accra and signed on behalf of Sheik M. M. Gedel, Chairman of the Hilal Committee, ‘Wished all Muslims in Ghana and the World a successful Ramadan Fasting.’
