MP donates building materials to constituents

Goaso, (B/A), Sept. 10, GNA – Mr David Amankwah, Member of Parliament for Asunafo North, has donated building materials worth 10.3 million cedis from his share of the District Assemblies Common Fund, to a number of communities in the constituency.

The beneficiary communities include Tipokrom, Anwianwia, Kumaho, Atimpongya, Bedabour, Mpamase, Antwi-Adjei, Fianko, Ampenkro, Tweneboakrom, Adankyekye and Adomako.

Mr Amankwah made the donation during a ten-day tour of the communities to interact with the constituents. The MP called on the Town/Area Councils and Unit Committees in the constituency to ensure effective utilisation of their local manpower resources to enhance their development programmes.

He explained that there are a number of artisans, including masons and carpenters in their localities whose skills could be effectively tapped in all locally-initiated development projects. He said this would also help reduce cost..
