CAC calls for assistance for the disabled

Kumasi, Sept. 13, GNA- The New Suame branch of the Christ Apostolic Church of Ghana (CAC) in Kumasi has urged the privileged in society to assist the needy, especially the disabled and orphans who suffered setbacks through no fault of theirs.

Apostle Jeroham Opuni, the Ashanti East Territorial Head of CAC made the call when he presented a wheelchair to Madam Millicent Duku, a disabled member of the church.

He the wheel chair, which cost 1.6 million cedis would enhance the mobility of Madam Duku, who plays an active role in the church. Apostle Opuni admonished Christians to replicate whatever they read from the Bible for non-Christians to emulate since that was on its own, a form of evangelism.

Madam Duku thanked the church for the gesture and promised to take good care of it.
