Gas celebrate Homowo in peace

Accra, Aug. 12, GNA — The people of Gamashie on Saturday celebrated Homowo, a festival of thanksgiving that commemorates the end of hunger. The celebration was led by the Elders of the Nii Amugi Court. The leader of the Court, Nii Yalai Yartey led his people to sprinkle ‘Kpokpoi’ the unique festive dish, to God and ancestors around the environs to mark the day.
