NPP supporters asked to close ranks

Assin Anyinabrim (C/R), Aug 10, GNA – The Assin North and Assin South Constituency Chairmen of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have urged supporters of the party to close their ranks and to work for the party to win the 2000 general elections.

Mr Dankwa Smith and Nana Gyamara asked them to intensify house to house campaign to win more supporters. They were speaking at separate meetings with supporters of the party at Assin Anyinabrim and Amma Camp in the Assin District.

At Anyinabrim, Nana Gyamara said the NDC has failed the nation and called on Ghanaians to reject it.

He asked people in rural areas not to allow themselves to be deceived any longer. At Amma Camp, Mr Smith assured the people that an NPP Government would ensure an improvement in their standard of living.
