Catholic charity inaugurated at Mumford

Mumford (C/R), Aug 4, GNA – The Reverend Father Joe Mensah, Assistant Parish Priest of Apam St. Joseph’s Catholic Church has called on Ghanaians to always examine aims and objectives of social groupings carefully before joining them.

“It is not just enough to associate oneself with a group or an association just because of the beautiful dress code of its members,” he added.

Rev Mensah was inaugurating St Theresa of infant Jesus Society at Mumford.

The society, a charitable grouping within the Catholic Church, is based on the four cardinal principles of love, hope, faith and charity. Rev Fr Mensah advised members of the society that the four principles could enhance their Christian ideology therefore they should endeavour to abide by them.
