NDC to open Book of Condolence for Justice Annan

Accra, July 28, GNA – The National Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Friday announced that a book of condolence would be open at the national headquarters of the Party from Monday in memory of Mr Justice Daniel Francis Annan, Former Speaker of Parliament.

A statement signed by Mr Baba Jamal, Deputy General Secretary in charge of Finance and Administration, said the book would remain open until August 4 2006.

It said the flag of the party would also fly at half-mast throughout the country.

The party described Mr Justice Annan as a great son of Ghana and a great man of our time. Mr Justice Annan, 77, died at the 37th Military Hospital on July 16.
