PRESEC launches Golden Jubilee

Accra, July 27, GNA – Old students have been asked to continue to play key roles in the development of their alma mater. Mr Isaac Kwabena Darko, President of the Osu Presbyterian Secondary School (PRESEC) Old Students Association, said past students would be doing a great disservice to their schools if they failed to make positive contributions towards the schools, which had made them what they are today.

Mr Darko said this after members of the association had gone on a float in Accra at the weekend, as part of activities marking PRESEC’s Jubilee celebrations.

The theme for the celebration is “Quality Education: mainstreaming into the golden age of progress”. Activities lined up for the celebration include sponsored walks, blood donations, candle procession, speech and prize-giving day and a dinner dance.

Mr Darko said th e celebrations would be rounded off with a thanksgiving service Sunday, October 25. He urged old students of the school to use the occasion to renew their commitment towards the school’s development and progress.
