Body found floating in a lagoon at Aflao

Aflao, July 13, GNA – The bloated body of a man believed to be in his middle ages has been discovered in the Lagoon at Aflao. No clue has so far been established as to the cause of his death or his identity.

An Aflao police source told the Ghana New Agency (GNA) that, fishermen last weekend discovered the body and informed police. The source said no foul play had as yet been established. Concerns of some locals were why the body had not been discovered earlier since the lagoon and its precincts had always been busy with human activity.

The body has been deposited at the Ketu District morgue for autopsy. 13 July 06
