Japan Motors gives to Ghana Armed Forces

Accra, July 4, GNA – Management of Japan Motors Company Limited on Tuesday presented a motorbike and three power generators valued at 7,000 dollars (approximately 64 million cedis) to the Ghana Armed Forces in Accra.

Mr Abbas Dabboussi, Sales and Marketing Director of Japan Motors, said the presentation was part of the company’s social responsibility to the Armed Forces and also a reward for being one of its loyal customers. Dr Kwame Addo-Kufuor, Minister of Defence, who received the items, said the donation highlighted the excellent relationship between the company and the military.

He said the generators, which have a capacity of 1.2kva each, would be used for fieldwork and training exercises for soldiers, while the motorbike would provide courier services to facilitate the operations of the military.
