BOPP donates computers, books to schools

Benso (W/R), May 31, GNA – The management of Benso Oil Palm Plantations on Thursday presented four computers and accessories, a quantity of books and two bookshelves worth 60 million cedis to two basic schools in two communities in its catchment area to mark the company’s Open Day.

The beneficiary schools were the Benso D/A JSS and Adum Banso D/A JSS in the Mpohor Wassa East/West districts.

Making the presentation, Mr Nenenyo Asare Mate-Kole, Managing Director of the company said the donation was part of the company’s social responsibility to the development of the two communities in its catchment area. Each school had two computers.

Mr Barnabas Kweku Sraha, Headmaster of the Benso D/A JSS thanked the company for its contribution towards the socio-economic development of the communities. A similar donation was also made at the Adum Banso D/A JSS.
