Nkoranza (B/A), May 8, GNA – The National Electoral Commission (NEC) has appointed some 129 officials to carry out the limited voters’ registration exercise at Nkoranza in Brong-Ahafo.
Mr. Kofi Frimpong, Nkoranza district Electoral Officer, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Nkoranza that there were 84 registration officers and shaders, 21 cameramen persons, 21 laminators and three supervisors.
They will be working at 42 electoral centres throughout the district.
The Electoral Officer said the Commission had already organised an orientation course for the officials to help them to become abreast with their roles and responsibilities for effective and efficient work. Mr. Frimpong said the leadership of the various political parties in the district had also been briefed about the exercise and could deploy at the centres to observe the exercise.
